As some may know, I have moved back to the US, specifically to my hometown of Richmond, VA. While I haven’t lived here as an adult, it has been my intention to reconnect with my family and friends.
As I get older, community becomes increasingly more important to me. My time in Panama, away from everything and everyone I knew, and building a new community of loved ones made me realize the importance of family and community. I have come to understand how much I need it, how much I crave it, how much it needs me, and how community is my gift.
So now I’m back home, living with my mother, restarting my life once again. I am pushing back other plans to be there for special moments, work on this blog, social content, as well as working, teaching, and volunteering in the community that raised me. As I think about all these things I struggle with the content I want to bring to you.

Thank you for being a part of my early years. Thank you to the people who are reading, watching, and simply interested in my travel life. A life before thousands of followers or readers.
While I’ll be excited when that happens, I am currently excited about the small group of people who decide to read, watch, and tune into the 10% of my life.
So, while Panama will always hold a special place in my heart, and I’ll still sprinkle in some Panama content here and there, I believe I’m going to transition to the next set of blogs about my hometown of Richmond.
I want to be a tourist in my own city. Since I really grew up in the suburbs, the city is a little foreign and new to me. Additionally, there have been many changes in the last decade that I’ve actually lived here. Traveling is about discovering new places, people, food, and experiences, and I plan to do all of that while in RVA.
I want to focus more on hella Black and African places within this city and other cities where I have loved ones. I want to bring you along as I rediscover food, drinks, workout places, history, and more in RVA and other cities.

So, watch on social media and stay tuned to this blog for Allthingsbiola as I reconnect, rediscover, and remember this time period of my life.
As Always Thank You for Reading My World, My Vision, My Adventure!
